The pool is open weekdays from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm and weekends from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. Swim time ends at 7:30 pm. It is generally open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. (More info can be found in Topics A-Z.)

Trash pick up is Wednesday morning. Place City issued rolling cart at the curb by 7 a.m. on Wednesday (or after 5 p.m. Tuesday evening). Containers must be returned to your backyard by Wednesday evening. Any large item can be removed by special collection for a fee by calling the City at 703-248-5160 before noon Tuesday to schedule a pickup for Wednesday.
Our condo fees cover snow removal from streets, sidewalks and lots. However, clearing individual parking spaces is an owner responsibility.

Scheduled pruning, edging, mowing, mulching, and leaf removal; planting of trees and shrubs.
Evaluation of the condition of every tree on our common grounds for its health and our safety. Homeowners can opt to receive a proposal for needed tree work in their own back yards to get on the tree work schedule.

Contact Management to report maintenance needs for common elements of the Winter Hill community. Examples include brick, concrete, crawl spaces, fences and gates, gutters and downspouts, house numbers and mailboxes, parking lots, storage rooms, landscaping, and water and sewer services.

Homeowners are responsible for the interior of their units, wall to wall.
Any owner who wants to change the exterior of a unit or the surrounding landscape must apply for and receive written design approval from the Board prior to starting work. Examples include window replacement, front and back doors, tree planting, patio or shed installation, and exterior lighting.
